At the heart of Aegle is an advanced system of rehabilitation therapy from traditional rehab programs to state-of-the-art technology.

The Omnicycle Elite automatically senses fluctuations in patient strength and provides strategic motor-assistance.

The It’s Never 2 Late system is a touch-screen therapy tool that enhances motor skills and coordination through an interactive computer program. Even patients who are not familiar with the internet can share photos, and connect with family through email and Skype.

Omnicycle Elite Motorized Rehabilitation System

Representing the most advanced therapy cycle technology available today, the Omnicycle Elite accommodates post-acute patients who may not typically be able to participate in therapeutic exercises due to lack of strength, coordination, partial paralysis, respiratory limitations and other conditions.

The Omnicycle Elite facilitates upper- and lower-extremity exercise in three separate motor-assisted modes: Assisted (full motor-assist with a low level of patient participation), Active-Assist (partial motor-assist with active patient participation), and Active (no motor-assist with full patient participation). The Omnicycle Elite automatically shifts between exercise modes as it detects varying levels of patient participation. The system has been designed with a number of special features to accommodate the complex medical needs of aging adults, including direct wheelchair access, heart rate indicator, spasticity detection and voice command emergency stop. In addition, the Omnicycle Elite includes a large color touch screen and interactive Biofeedback function to engage and motivate patients mentally and physically, to improve exercise participation and performance.

It’s Never 2 Late Therapy System (IN2L)

The IN2L system is built on a picture-based, touch-screen interface that allows users to simply touch their way to find engaging, educational, spiritual, and personalized content that is appropriate to their level of cognitive and physical ability. From using e-mail and web cams to connect with family and friends, to enjoying mind-stimulating activities, to improving hand-eye coordination as part of a rehabilitation program, elders with a wide range of physical and cognitive abilities, most of whom have never used a computer, are now enjoying technology using systems adapted especially for them.
